Club Achievement
Each year, the AAF honors top clubs in eight categories: advertising education, communications, diversity, government relations, club management, membership, programs and public service. Additionally, a "club of the year" is chosen in each division.

What are "books" anyway? How do I do them? How much time is required? Is this a monumental task that I should be afraid of?
So many questions! The books are clearly defined on the National AAF website … www.aaf.org. If you have never done them, don’t worry, you will learn during the coarse of your year as President. They can be time consuming if you try to do everything yourself … so delegate and spread the fun out among your members. Don't be afraid to make the leap and submit books. Remember, it’s like the lottery … if you don't enter, you can't win.
Is there a special format that I have to use to submit?
Yes, there are very specific guidelines to follow. All of this information can be found on at www.aaf.org. Click on Club Services and follow the links to Club Achievement section.
Are their monetary prizes or just bragging rights?
Yes, many of the books receive money from special grants that are passed on to the winning clubs. Cash awards are given for education, communication and diversity. It pays to enter!
I've never done a book. Where do I start?
Read the rules at www.aaf.org website.
Do I need to have a Club Achievement Chair?
No, but it sure helps. Some clubs make it the responsibility of each Chair to assemble their own books. Others rely on one copywriter to assure the same look and feel of each book. It's up to you.
Why is it especially important to enter National Competition?
As President, you will get to represent your club and be recognized in a special presentation ceremony.
