2013 ADDY Entry Totals Are In

District ADDY Chair Michelle Rushing reports a total of 4,288 local competiton entries in Florida and the Caribbean this year. For the first time ever the Caribbean Ad Fed is the largest show in the District. CAF had an increase of 62% up 259 entries this year for a total of 678 entries. Other large percentage increases were posted by AAF Emerald Coast with a 51% increase followed by Daytona Beach with a 42% increase. The top three in total number of entries are Caribbean Ad Fed still leading again with 678 entries followed by Miami - 527 and Ft. Lauderdale - 493.

We are already a month in to the new year, and ADDYs are in full swing around the country. It's a busy time of year for all of us at work, home and in AdFed. There are a lot of great things happening across our district, so much of which would not be possible without the volunteers who serve as District Four committee chairs. There are many more things we will accomplish this year under Governor Lucas' leadership, but we must also start planning for next year so as not to lose the momentum she has created with her passion and vision for D4 and AAF. Think AAF The Next Time You Place Your Shoes In The Bin

In partnership with American Advertising Federation (AAF) Tampa based corporate member SecurityPoint Media, the AAF is launching the largest nationwide ad campaign in the Federation's history at airports across the United States. The campaign will rotate to different airports reaching all corners of the country. AAF advertising will be prominently displayed in the security trays at security checkpoints, viewable by every person who goes through airport security at those locations, engaging tens of millions of travelers over the course of the campaign. Forward Your Local ADDY Winning Work To The District Competition

The ADDYs are unlike other competitions because it is three-tiered. By winning in the local competition you have won the right to compete at the District level against winners from all the other Florida and Caribbean markets. Gold ADDY winners will be forwarded automatically with no additional fees. Silver ADDY winners have the right to move forward by paying the District Entry Fee. Read More
